Position Overview: The Wholesale Parts Stockperson is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring accurate stocking and record-keeping in accordance with dealership standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and verify shipments, ensuring accuracy in orders and quantities.
- Process will call orders efficiently.
- Pick parts for sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate records of receiving and shipping activities.
- Organize and prepare shipments for stocking.
- Assist in stocking inventory.
- Support the upkeep of bins and equipment.
- Help arrange the department layout, including bin movement as necessary.
- Oversee returned parts and manage a designated storage area for these items.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper labeling of all bins, aisles, and storage areas.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must fulfill the Company's employment criteria.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a dealership environment.
- Capability to interpret vendor catalogs.
- Proficiency in using the parts department computer system and calculator.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment: The AutoNation Parts Center operates in a non-temperature-controlled setting. Employees should be prepared to work in varying temperatures throughout the year.
Compensation: The anticipated annual salary for this position ranges from $31.32, depending on each candidate's unique experience and qualifications.
