Challenging Projects: As a Software Assurance Analyst, you will work within an Agile DevSecOps team environment, utilizing the latest cloud-native technologies to architect and implement containerized applications, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and cloud solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring software security and quality, contributing to a DoD customer's needs. Key responsibilities include: Developing software using leading languages, frameworks, and platforms including Python and FastAPI, JavaScript and React, C++, and AWS. Leveraging Test Driven Development and User-Centered Design best practices to automate testing and ensure delivered software meets and exceeds customer needs. Applying software design best practices to identify and analyze potential solutions, generate design diagrams, and participate in technical exchange meetings. Embracing a shared responsibility for system security, performing threat modeling, and implementing protective measures throughout the software development lifecycle. Engaging continuously with project teams to deliver quality products and participating in daily standups, sprint planning/review meetings, discovery and framing workshops, and customer demo sessions. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and security of our digital infrastructure. State-of-the-Art Technology: Expand your expertise by working with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, optimizing their application in a dynamic environment. New Skills: Collaborate with a diverse team of technical and functional experts, gaining practical experience with advanced tools, technologies, and strategic-level implementations. You Have: Active SECRET Security Clearance, (TS/SCI eligible) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience. 10+ years of combined professional experience working in an Agile team using DevOps practices and modern programming languages and frameworks and/or software assurance, ensuring software security and quality. Experience with Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) reviews and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM). Full-stack experience including front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js. Experience with Test Driven Development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and using commercial cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with Docker or OCI compliant containers and Git version control. Strong Linux environment skills and experience building and consuming REST APIs. Location: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of on-site and remote work options. The employee should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to San Antonio, TX. Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; SECRET clearance is required.
