Position Summary
Independent Software is seeking skilled Threat Analysts at various levels (1-4) to engage in comprehensive research on adversarial threats impacting diverse systems, technologies, operations, or missions. The successful candidates will utilize a wide range of intelligence sources to assess the probability of threats and aid in the characterization of adversarial behavior, intentions, and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytic reporting and investigative assessments.
- Perform thorough threat and risk analyses.
- Engage in intelligence and traffic analysis.
Qualifications:
Level 1:
A degree in any discipline is acceptable. Entry-level candidates may possess a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
Level 2:
A degree in any discipline is acceptable. Candidates may enter with a high school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
Level 3:
A degree in any discipline is acceptable. Candidates may enter with a high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
Level 4:
A degree in any discipline is acceptable. Candidates may enter with a high school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance: Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be eligible for this position.
