Job Overview

Position Summary

Independent Software is seeking skilled Threat Analysts at various levels (1-4) to investigate and assess adversarial threats affecting diverse systems, technologies, operations, or missions. The selected candidates will utilize a range of intelligence sources to evaluate the probability of threats and aid in the characterization of adversarial behaviors, intentions, and capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analytic reporting, investigative analysis, threat assessment, risk evaluation, intelligence gathering, or traffic analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

Level 1:
Candidates should possess a degree in any discipline. Entry-level requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience.


Level 2:
Candidates should possess a degree in any discipline. Entry-level requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 9 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.


Level 3:
Candidates should possess a degree in any discipline. Entry-level requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 12 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.


Level 4:
Candidates should possess a degree in any discipline. Entry-level requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 15 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree with 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree with 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance: Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be eligible for this position.
