Pharmacy Technician III

This position is responsible for performing a variety of pharmacy technician duties under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pharmacy technician training, audits, and project assignments
  • Coordinate medication-related issues for patients, providers, and clinic staff
  • Order medications, maintain inventory, and manage medication shortages
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of pharmacy software and hardware
  • Participate in the preparation and distribution of medications, including compounding and dispensing

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Hospital Pharmacy Technician Training or equivalent
  • Chemotherapy drug preparation training within 60 days
  • 2 years of directly related experience
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician in NM within 60 days
