SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (Customer Success) USA (Remote)

1406 Consulting is a dynamic and rapidly growing Elite HubSpot partner dedicated to helping businesses achieve their full potential. Our team of experts leverages cutting-edge technology, including HubSpot, to empower our clients and drive their success. We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team.

Position Description:

As a Senior Account Manager at 1406 Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients maximize their investment in HubSpot and achieve their business objectives. You will be the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responsible for nurturing strong client relationships, providing ongoing support, and identifying opportunities for upselling our services.  NOTE: This is NOT a Direct Sales role. 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Understand clients' unique goals and challenges and align HubSpot solutions to meet their needs.
  • Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and address any issues promptly.
  • Responsibility for managing relationships with multiple clients, including a combination of HubSpot implementation projects and ongoing retainer / managed services clients.

HubSpot Expertise:

  • This role is designed for professionals with prior marketing agency or consulting experience as an account manager / customer success manager, who do not have prior expertise in HubSpot.
  • After joining our team, you'll develop your HubSpot Expertise through our training and onboarding process, to learn how to provide guidance and best practices on HubSpot tools, automation, and features.
  • Support your clients by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to HubSpot.

Ongoing Support:

  • Monitor client accounts and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and provide training and resources to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests promptly and effectively.

Upselling and Expansion:

  • Actively identify opportunities for upselling additional services or HubSpot features to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and leadership teams to develop tailored upsell strategies.
  • Present opportunities to leadership for review and execution.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, etc.).
  • Demonstrable experience as an Account Manager or similar client-facing role. 
  • HubSpot certifications (e.g., HubSpot Certified, Inbound Certified) are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to drive customer success and satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
