POSITION SUMMARY

The position is responsible for reconciliation and management of aging standards of Fintech Operations. The incumbent collaborates with management regarding Fintech Partnerships, Payments clients and Credit partners focusing on reconciliation. As a primary function they will reconcile multiple accounts daily and work variances as they occur. Local candidates only in the Sioux Falls, SD area to meet hybrid in office work requirements - two days per week (Wednesday required).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Reconciliation of credit builder and credit card products.
  • Responsible for daily reconciliation of National Products accounts.
  • Research of accounts that are out of balance or items past due 90 days.
  • Assist in the movement of funds between bank owned accounts when there are adjustments.
  • Ability to obtain reconciliation data from multiple different internal and external sources
  • Assist internal and external data teams to resolve more complex reconciliation issues for existing products.
  • Utilize existing and create new SQL queries to troubleshoot issues and identify efficiencies.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on data received from processors to ensure the accuracy of our database.
  • Assists in setup of funds movement for new program implementations
  • Understand process flows of all files pertaining to Fintech and Payment programs to assist data teams in problem resolution.
  • Work with data in the flat files & understand how it affects operations and the overall products within National Products.
  • Work with Processors, Program Managers and Database team on recon difference resolution.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others as subject matter expert when it comes to FinTech Reconciliation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency
  • Prepare for or provide requested documentation or information for Audit purposes
  • Completes special projects and performs other responsibilities and duties assigned by management.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school degree or GED required
  • College degree in business related field preferred.
  • Five years' related experience required.
  • Experience in the Prepaid, Payments, financial industry.
  • Two years' experience in SQL preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks daily.
  • Understanding of the funds flow life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience or knowledge of bank accounting practices and principles of internal controls.
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with fluency in data manipulation, importing and exporting using Excel.
  • Experience in reconciliation processes associated with payments and fintech productions.
  • Proven ability to reconcile activity in various DDA and General Ledger accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
