Tradeshow - Event Coordinator

Essential Functions:
- Work with Director of Marketing and VP Business Development to evaluate tradeshows.
- Coordinate and manage pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to ensure maximum ROI. Work with Content Manager and Marketing Coordinator and Pardot Administrator on content and Pardot/email strategies.
- Work with third party resources for collateral fulfillment, booth design & setup, trade show supplies, planning software, and lead capture. Provide oversight of external resources involved in delivery of trade show strategy.
- Prepare for tradeshows and sponsorship events by preparing booths, accessories, marketing materials, and pre- and post-promotions. Work with marketing team on social media strategies.
- Manage and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Work cross-functionally to coordinate coverage schedules; confirm attendance, speaker opportunities, customer events, and direct attendees to proper sites for hotel and travel arrangements
- Track performance of tradeshows.
- Work with company leadership on company events, meetings, sales, trips, picnics, and other activities.
- Plan and attend events -- coordinate details, negotiate pricing, work with third party resources, handle purchasing and maintain records for events, and organize teams to support events.
- Work with Marketing team to communicate and publicize events.
- Bachelors in Meeting and Event Management, Marketing, or business-related field. Prefer one or more years of experience. CMP certification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Team player that is reliable, flexible, helpful, and works well in a collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented and effective organizational and project management skills.
- Strong, professional written and verbal communication; general copywriting skills. Fast learner, highly motivated, client-centric and service-oriented with outgoing, positive attitude.
- Be creative and team-oriented, working with Marketing and other departments on event ideas and execution.
- Highly motivated, outgoing disposition and must get along with others. Attention to details for events/meetings and extremely organized on the administrative side of tradeshows and events.
- This position requires some physical flexibility and activity - the ability to lift, pack, and move tradeshow crates and boxes up to 35 pounds. You may need to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl when setting up events and displays.
