Job Description

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and organized Exhibition Coordinator to join our team. As an Exhibition Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning: Work with the Director of Marketing and VP Business Development to evaluate tradeshows and plan events that meet our business objectives.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate and manage pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to ensure maximum ROI, including working with the Content Manager and Marketing Coordinator on content and Pardot/email strategies.
  • Vendor Management: Work with third-party resources for collateral fulfillment, booth design & setup, trade show supplies, planning software, and lead capture, providing oversight of external resources involved in the delivery of trade show strategy.
  • Event Execution: Prepare for tradeshows and sponsorship events by preparing booths, accessories, marketing materials, and pre- and post-promotions, working with the marketing team on social media strategies.
  • Expense Management: Manage and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Event Tracking: Track performance of tradeshows and provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Company Events: Work with company leadership on company events, meetings, sales, trips, picnics, and other activities, planning and attending events, coordinating details, negotiating pricing, and working with third-party resources.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Meeting and Event Management, Marketing, or a business-related field. Prefer one or more years of experience. CMP certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Team player that is reliable, flexible, helpful, and works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and effective organizational and project management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong, professional written and verbal communication; general copywriting skills. Fast learner, highly motivated, client-centric, and service-oriented with an outgoing, positive attitude.
  • Physical Requirements: Some physical flexibility and activity required, including the ability to lift, pack, and move tradeshow crates and boxes up to 35 pounds.
