Sales Territory Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in a team-based selling model
- Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any order process problems
- Communicate with customers to collect accounts receivable as necessary
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market intelligence, leads, and events
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products and prices
- Drive to visit existing customers and prospects
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: District and Regional Sales Managers, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit, Marketing, and Operations
External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of sales experience preferred
Experience in foodservice/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Competitive and results-driven mentality
Problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
EDUCATION
HS Diploma or equivalent
LICENSES
Valid driver's license and good motor vehicle record required

Must be able to lift/carry up to 75lbs and work in variable weather conditions
