Job Title: Building Automation Systems Specialist

Overview: Seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Building Automation Systems Specialist. This role is crucial in optimizing building performance and energy efficiency through the maintenance and operation of advanced control systems. Ideal candidates will have a passion for technology, a commitment to sustainability, and the drive to work on diverse projects that make a real-world impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on building control systems, including database backups, system analysis, and performance testing.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and mechanical components.
  • Engage with team members and customers to provide comprehensive support and training.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of control programs and standards.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or certificate in Applied Technologies, or related field.
  • Understanding of DDC control theory and applications, basic electronics, and electrical circuits.
  • Experience with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
  • Basic programming knowledge.
  • Experience in a similar role within the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Electrical-06A license or equivalent certification.
