Building Automation Technician

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills in the Building Automation Controls (BAC, BMS, BAS) industry.


This role will work with other engineers to help complete the day to day field engineering, programming, and commissioning of automation systems in building systems including HVAC, security systems, lighting and other system integrations. This role will be responsible for the execution of the initial systems point-to-point commissioning activities. The management and timely completion of projects will be essential to this role as well.


Qualifications:

  • 3-10 years of relevant work and engineering experience in Building Automation Systems field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Experience Required: Familiarity with programs such as Distech, Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, ALC
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, and MS Project. A basic understanding of TCP/IP network structure and web navigation is desirable.
