Job Title: Facility Operations Specialist III

Pay Range: $30-$32/hour

What's the Job?

  • Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters.
  • Performs a variety of service work, general maintenance, and custodial activities including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and facility repairs.
  • Provides direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists.
  • Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and machines.
  • Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work.
  • Requisitions new supplies and equipment.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as required.

What's Needed?

  • Completion of a two-year technical degree, equivalent or two years' experience as a Facility Operations Specialist II plus 5 years' experience in a Facility Maintenance environment.
  • Ability to maintain all HVAC systems and working knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals.
  • Requires Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check and subject interview.
