As key members of the team, Digital Product Owners combine deep subject matter expertise, vision, strategy, systems thinking, and product management capabilities to produce highly integrated and effective digital solutions and tools. What You'll Do... The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one or more systems, leading a multi-disciplinary and cross-divisional product team to deliver value to internal and external customers of the Firm. This individual aligns strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of their product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future. This work includes the management of system plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource needs, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value. Collaborate with leaders to attract, develop, and drive a team of high-performing associates, and will play a pivotal role in their ongoing personal and professional development. Advise and align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the product strategy. Drive the matrixed product team through influence as well as task assignment authority, mentoring, and coaching all team members to fulfill the product vision. Success in this role requires depth and breadth of subject matter experts inside and outside the Client Proposal and Onboarding product area, as well as a foundational understanding of Product Management and Agile, and the ability to expand these capabilities within the organization. MBA or graduate degree preferred. 5+ years of experience working in an agile framework of system development. 5+ years of related business experience with increasingly responsible positions. Experience must include: Designing and implementing functional systems Experience with supporting multiple complex products and prioritize assigned tasks/projects with minimal assistance. Experience summarizing highly complex business cases, system information and concepts and communicating information and updates to stakeholders and leadership. What Could Set You Apart: Experience with Agile product management tools such as Jira and Aha Experience with onboarding/enrollment applications, specifically in the finance industry.
