POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Project Manager is a core member of the Digital Program Management Office (PMO). In this role you will lead complex, global, Digital projects across the organization and collaborate with the PMO team using best practice processes and Scaled Agile. Responsible for planning, execution ,and management of projects within a defined scope within constraints of human, financial and schedule resources, adjusting to priorities as needed to ensure successful completion. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, critical thinker, collaborator, has strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.


WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

PMO Leadership:

  • Partner with Business and Digital Leaders to gain consensus, build prioritized, backlogs of work for the projects including management of the project roadmap, demand, and capability forecasting.
  • Lead cross team projects and large projects and drive collaboration across Digital team members, other Digital pillar team members, and other functional team members.
  • Provide sponsor updates, escalations, executive updates.
  • Lead tracking and documentation of success KPI’s.
  • Partner with the PMO and Digital Leaders to prepare for Monthly Business/Operating Reviews and quarterly Portfolio Councils
  • Provide input into improvements for standard practices and processes.
  • Coach Product Owners and Scrum Leaders


Project Management:

  • Manage project organization, planning, execution, project control, budget, and governance to ensure consistent, reliable results.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are created and maintained in Jira throughout the project, including, project plans, roadmaps, scope, risk/issue log, budget, and reporting.
  • Define critical paths to execution, including building short-term project plans to high-level, multi-year roadmaps (in collaboration with Product Owners, Leaders, and Business Partners)
  • Lead development and management of project scorecards and metrics (KPIs)
  • Effectively communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions to Program leadership at all levels in the organization
  • Manage total workload and establish delivery dates, appropriately.
  • Assess impact of scope changes, risks, issues and other changes to the project remit and work with the project team to resolve.
  • Measure project progress and performance of plan to actual.
  • Define responsibilities and assign tasks for relevant initiatives.
  • Support the Release Train Engineer by ensuring project deliverables are prepared based on Scaled Agile cadence and participate in PI Planning events.
  • Manage and oversee third parties, participate in review of statements of work (SOW) and ensure third party delivery in accordance with defined SOWs.
  • Support cost-benefit analysis, planning, organization and change management of new strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure successful on-time delivery, aligned with customer expectations utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Manage capital expense requests from business case through delivery.
  • Act as a Change Agent for Digital Operating Model
  • Coach teams and Product Owners in defining and measuring meaningful KPIs to evaluate effectiveness of investments.


YOU HAVE:

  • Academic background in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (or related field)
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital and Scaled Agile, Scrum and Agile
  • 5+ years in one or more technical fields
  • Experience leading cross-functional, digital operations projects (e.g., integrations, ERP, logistics, product lifecycle management, manufacturing execution systems, automation, cloud, etc.)
  • Experience collaborating with teams that simultaneously manage multiple projects and do significant amount of operational and unplanned work.
  • Experience managing 3rd Party vendors
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Ability to proactively predict and address risks and issues.
  • Strong governance skills to track and measure cross team efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills including demonstrated proficiency in Jira, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with Digital teams, Program stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Ability to optimize processes
  • Ability to influence others via indirect management
  • Ability to lead, organize and motivate teams in geographically dispersed locations.
  • Ability to understand and solve complicated Business problems while navigating in an uncertain environment.
