The Donor Database Coordinator at A New Leaf's Philanthropy Administration is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's donor database, ensuring the accurate entry of donations, and collaborating with the Finance team for reconciliation. This role oversees gift processing, supports event data management, including the annual Gala, and ensures data quality for strategic fundraising efforts. Additionally, the coordinator assists with grant support, community engagement, and the development of standard operating procedures, contributing to the overall success of A New Leaf's philanthropic initiatives.

Hourly Pay Rate: $22

Part-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm about 20 - 25 hours; 4-5 hours a day and 4-5 days a week (flexible)

Location: Mesa, AZ

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some higher education preferred.
Experience:
  • Data entry and mail merge experience required.
  • Previous experience with Raiser's Edge database or similar CRM system
  • Experience in nonprofit philanthropy, preferred
  • Accounting background a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365 Cloud Suite, required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Database Support (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT/RE7):
  • Process donation/ transaction entry within existing constituent records, including daily credit cards gifts, gifts-in-kind, and recording of pledges through creation of gift batches.
    • Create new constituent profiles as needed and manage associated transactions and relationships.
  • Data Quality and Integrity Record fidelity - processes updates and edits to the database as assigned by database manager.
  • Receipting and Acknowledgement Processing:
    • Merge, format, edit, and print gift acknowledgment letters for donations received; ensuring they are free of error and accurately represent the data entered.
    • Update donor and gift records with information from import/scan
    • Provide access to any personal correspondence associated with gifts for the Philanthropy Team (via MS Teams/SharePoint)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend quarterly Database Committee meetings with representatives from various stakeholder departments including Major Gifts, Annual Fund, Private Grants, Community Engagement, IT, and Finance Teams.
  • Collaborate with select stakeholders to maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures for A New Leaf's Philanthropy processes and databases, including but not limited to Raiser's Edge NXT, Raiser's Edge 7, Fundraise Up, Blackbaud Merchant Services, and other donation or event payment processing software
  • Other Assigned Duties: Performs other duties assigned.

  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance
  • CLEAN 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
