Description: TEKsystems is currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer for a rapidly growing customer in the Omaha area. The role will be primarily Remote but Travel monthly is required. This individual will be going to different sites, so would need to be open to flying and/or driving for a few days per month. We'd ideally prefer someone who is in an area near a big airport hub: MSP, ORD, ATL, DTW, CLT, etc. IT Infrastructure Engineer - need to be comfortable with Systems & Network Administration (Windows, Virtualization, Routers/Switches) Roles and Responsibilities • Planning, deploying, installing, modifying, and repairing user hardware/software systems and site server equipment • Planning, installing, networking, and deploying facility networking equipment • Coordinating with managed service, software as a service, and internet service providers to support and build out branch office facilities • Resolving staff-submitted tickets and identifying common support trends to result in project work • Consulting with users and managers to identify improvements for hardware and software solutions • Working with support staff to build documentation of network configuration, facility layout, and user software troubleshooting • Identifying third party training material that may be beneficial to the organization • Provisioning, configuring, and managing access to Microsoft 365 products including Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Autopilot, and others • Assisting with other infrastructure projects as required Additional Requirements • Strong verbal and written communication skills • 3-5 years of system administration experience preferred • 3-5 years of network infrastructure experience preferred • Prior experience equivalent to CompTIA Network+/A+ would be nice but not necessary Skills: Infrastructure, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure projects, Windows, Linux, Network Administration, Routers/Switches, Firewalls, LAN/WAN, Ports, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint etc.), Active Directory/Entra ID, Security, Azure, AWS, GCP, Cloud, DevOps, ITIL Additional Skills & Qualifications: Nice to have: -Experience with building out DevOps -ITIL -Cloud Experience with Azure or one of the major Cloud Providers.
