Communication Manager for Native American Programs

Arcetyp LLC is looking for an experienced Communication Manager for Native American Programs. This work supports the Administration for Native Americans (ANA). This position will be part of a team providing essential administrative, logistical, and communications services to the ANA Office of the Commissioner and programmatic support to ANA's Program Offices, including program management and services to ANA grant applicants and recipients. This role will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the ANA Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, the Senior Advisor/Chief of Staff, and Program Directors with operational, strategic, and technical expertise to fulfill ANA's Native American Affairs policy and program administrative responsibilities.
- Supports the ANA Office of the Commissioner.
- Staff are heavily engaged in research and analysis as well as event planning and other special projects for ANA.
- Candidates must possess executive level, professional writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to write specialized and technical reports for various audiences, including ANA, ACF, HHS, Congress, and the general public.
- Will use presentation skills with the ability to professionally represent ANA on committees and workgroups.
- Knowledge of Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act as it relates to digital information presentation and delivery to achieve 508 compliance and address broken links, spelling, etc.
- Manage digital and social media for a range of audiences and provide leadership in the practice of media and digital communications.
- Represents ANA in collaborative internal and external communication activities and fosters online information dissemination through social media and other digital platforms.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience can compensate and/or support education.
