Responsibilities
  • Responsible for planning and implementing data conversion and collection activities for spatially related data
  • Responsible for locational and attribute data collection for physical features to be incorporated into GIS or related databases
  • Maintains data development tools and software, GPS receivers and other related collection equipment
  • Develops processes and workflows and performs QA/QC
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Geography/GIS, Engineering or related field*
  • 2+ years of technical experience with ArcGIS **
  • Ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)

** Additional education can be substituted for years of experience

Experience Preferred (in addition to requirements):

  • Knowledge of Federal data standards including FGDC and SDSFIE
