Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

It is the purpose of the AVP Account Management to retain and monitor existing PathGroup clients by assuring client satisfaction, improve communications between pathologists and clients, identify and resolve problems, instill client loyalty and ensure delivery of the highest possible level of service to the client.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in retaining current business, increase market share and implement company payor contracts successfully.
  • Act as direct manager for all Territory Account Managers in their market, providing leadership, guidance and feedback, as well as support with clients in each market.
  • Regularly work with each Territory Account Manager to address client concerns and provide in-market training and mentorship.
  • Monitor travel and expenses for direct reports to ensure each client is being managed in the appropriate fashion by their assigned TAM.
  • Act as the contact person (along with the TAM) for all client concerns and as a liaison between the client and the communicator for problem resolution.
  • Conduct client surveys and analyses to determine the percentage of the market business we service.
  • Distribute marketing and patient education literature.
  • Assist in generating new business, particularly within existing accounts.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry’s best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
  • Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work with other departments within PathGroup and subsidiaries.

Requirements

EDUCATION LICENSURE:
  • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 years of medical sales experience preferred.
  • A proven track record of success in the sales field required.
