Overview

Smile Brands is a dominant player in the dental space and we are seeking to hire a Receptionist for our Costa Mesa Business Support Center in CA. The Business Support Receptionist will work on-site at our Costa Mesa location. One of your primary functions is being the face of this Business Support Office, effectively respond to inbound calls from all levels of the business, receive guests and provide administrative support to the various corporate departments. The Business Support Receptionist must deliver exceptional service to our internal and external customers, and to any other guests. The receptionist sets the tone of the organization because that is often a person's first contact with company.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate parties, take messages when necessary
  • Retrieve, respond and deliver voicemail messages
  • Answer general questions from patients and business support units
  • Tracks and updates internal data, maintain a directory of office locations, hours, and doctor history
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks utilizing proprietary software as well as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Support and assist the Voice of Patient (VOP) department with patient review tracking
  • Work with vendor to keep on-call doctor details current
  • Audit schedules
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous Administrative or Receptionist experience in a Corporate/Professional setting, or related experience in customer service, call center, sales, etc.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, personal initiative, confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work well independently, shows mature judgment, and knows how to prioritize their tasks and projects
  • Experienced balancing incoming calls and front desk
  • Can identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Proficient 10 key touch typing skills and a typing speed of 60 WPM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experince in the dental industry


Compensation

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
