Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant

The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, maintain strict confidentiality, have strong customer service skills, strong MS Office experience and be reliable and dependable with positive ,energetic, upbeat attitude and ability to be a team player.
Grossmont Pediatrics sees an average of 4-8 patients each hour.
A front office team greets, processes for coverage and copayments, and readies patients to be roomed. The team also handles overflow inbound calls, preps for next day's appointments, and handles faxes and such.
Epic training or knowledge a must.
Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
If you are vaccinated or have an approved condition or exemption that doesn't allow you to vaccinate, you could attend the on-site training. If unvaccinated, you may have to train remotely.
Experience with San Diego's many health coverages PPO, HMO, Tricare and Medi-cal are a plus. Bilingual is a plus. Maturity dealing with patients and smoothing schedule processing is a big plus.
Job Type: Full-time; M-F
Availability: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and until the last patient leave
Pay: $23.00 per hour
