- Compensation: $55/hour
- Location: Midland/Odessa, TX
- Assignment Duration: 12 months+
- Work Schedule: M-F / 40-50 hours / possibly on-call for weekends as needed

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in maintenance, operations, &/or inspection in oilfield and gas processing or related industry (piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, relief/critical safety systems) including applicable industry certifications (API 510 or API 570 certification a minimum requirement)
- NACE CIP Level 1 Coating Inspector Certification
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, including safety considerations in maintenance activities as well as continued operations
- A thorough technical knowledge of inspection plans, inspection techniques, performing API/CWI inspections, evaluating inspection results, developing run/repair/replace recommendations and tracking inspection findings/recommendations to closure
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-discipline, collaborative environment
- Ability to evaluate inspection results and develop/articulate the rationale for recommendations
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite software
- Ability to work individually in field production areas to represent Client's MI when reviewing equipment inspection results, repair recommendations, and QA
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to exit facility in expedient manner during an emergency situation. Must have the mobility and ability to climb stairs and ladders, as well as have visual and audio acuity. Must be able to make entry into confined spaces to conduct inspections
- High School diploma or GED required
Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment inspections.
- Evaluate inspection results, develops run/repair/replace recommendations, and work with Client MI Inspector and Inspection Leader to monitor inspection findings/recommendations.
- Provide QA/QC for new projects and maintenance repairs in Permian production areas (shop and field) - weld procedure/qualifications, NDE, pressure testing
- Conducts pre-commissioning inspections of new and reconditioned vessels and tanks to confirm internal coating and assembly quality
- Work closely with MI/Corrosion engineers in the identification of active and potential corrosion mechanisms as well as their mitigation, control and monitoring requirements
- Inspect facilities under SPCC jurisdiction for equipment conditions that could become a source of leaks/spills
