Description

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday requiring availability 6:30am to 4:30pm and will work 40-45 hours per week.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing inventory at Midco's Warehouse and Inventory facilities by accurately receiving in incoming shipments and picking and processing all outgoing shipments using inventory control systems to support internal and external customers.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare and process all incoming and outgoing shipments by prepping, picking, loading, unloading, and securing the equipment.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
  • Accurately distribute equipment to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain, control, and organize Midco's inventory.
  • Initiate timely and accurate requisition orders to replenish the inventory.
  • Accurately key all inventory data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Conduct accurate inventory cycle counts.
  • Utilize the inventory system to maintain the inventory in an organized manner.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment including, but not limited to steel toe shoes, face guards, protective gloves, and aprons.
  • Operate Midco equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Use safe practices to load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Operate and drive a Company vehicle in accordance with all Midco policies including maintaining a safe driving record.
  • May be required to travel to additional sites to assist other teams dependent upon company need..
  • Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
  • Support internal & external customer needs through positive relationship interaction.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position in accordance to Midco Attendance Policy.

* Microsoft Office experience preferred.

* Knowledge of inventory management systems preferred.

* Have the ability to obtain certification to operate

material handing equipment, such as forklift and/or skid steer.

Inventory Control Specialist II

* Minimum of 1+ years of warehouse or inventory experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT - PHYSICAL & MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The team member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • The team member may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, it is required for two or more people to lift the load.
  • Team member may be required to sit and/or work on feet for extended periods of time.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
