Primary Objective: Effectively oversee all incoming products and materials within the inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precise Receiving: Confirm received items against packing documentation, assess for damages, and ensure correct placement within the inventory.
- Labeling and Organization: Systematically label and arrange incoming materials for streamlined access within the inventory framework.
- Professional Communication: Engage with customers, suppliers, and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
- System Utilization: Employ inventory management software to monitor transactions and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
- Process Enhancement: Recognize and implement improvements to optimize the receiving workflow.
- Additional Duties: Maintain a tidy work environment and assist with other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift Certification: Willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and walking.
- Flexibility: Adaptable to various working conditions and able to demonstrate teamwork.
- Punctuality: Reliable in meeting deadlines and ensuring operational effectiveness.
Preferred Experience:
- Inventory Management Background: Previous experience in inventory oversight roles.
- Efficiency Improvement: Proven track record in enhancing inventory processes.
