Primary Objective: Effectively oversee all incoming products and materials within the inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precise Receiving: Confirm received items against packing documentation, assess for damages, and ensure correct placement within the inventory.
  • Labeling and Organization: Systematically label and arrange incoming materials for streamlined access within the inventory framework.
  • Professional Communication: Engage with customers, suppliers, and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • System Utilization: Employ inventory management software to monitor transactions and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
  • Process Enhancement: Recognize and implement improvements to optimize the receiving workflow.
  • Additional Duties: Maintain a tidy work environment and assist with other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Forklift Certification: Willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and walking.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable to various working conditions and able to demonstrate teamwork.
  • Punctuality: Reliable in meeting deadlines and ensuring operational effectiveness.

Preferred Experience:

  • Inventory Management Background: Previous experience in inventory oversight roles.
  • Efficiency Improvement: Proven track record in enhancing inventory processes.
