Responsibilities
  • Responsible for performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and critical care settings.
  • Responsible for supervising and coordinating shift-to-shift operations.
  • At the direction of the POCC, assess annual blood gas competency for staff.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Associates degree in a related field
  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Possess active RRT credential from the NBRC (National Board of Respiratory Care)
  • CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS certified
  • Pediatric and Neonatal experience
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of Respiratory Therapy experience
