Job Summary:

As the Front Desk Supervisor at Haig Point Club and Community, you will be a cornerstone of our member and guest service operations. You will oversee the front desk team, ensuring seamless interactions, managing daily operations, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Your role will involve supervising and training staff, handling inquiries and issues, and ensuring that all front desk functions are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise front desk staff to ensure exceptional service and smooth operations.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations for front desk team members.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Guest Services:
  • Greet and assist members and guests in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Resolve complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring member and guest satisfaction.
Operations Management:
  • Monitor and manage front desk operations, including ferry and pickup reservations, billing, and other related member services.
  • Ensure that the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address requests and resolve issues.
Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of member and guest interactions, reservations, and billing.
  • Prepare reports on front desk performance, member/guest feedback, and operational issues.
  • Implement and enforce front desk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with club standards.
Customer Experience:
  • Enhance the member and guest experience by providing personalized service and anticipating guest needs.
  • Promote and communicate club amenities, events, and services to guests.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for members, guests and staff.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with front desk software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
