Description This position will conduct basic research for various construction documents, working through multiple proprietary workflow queues to publish plans and specifications for construction projects. Their primary responsibility is to meticulously gather, evaluate, correct as necessary, and publish documents into Dodge Construction Network's (Dodge) Data Platform. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Manager, Plans & Specs Team. Preferred Location and Expected Work Hours This is a remote, home-office role and candidates located in the Central and Eastern time zones in the United States will be considered. Work hours are 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Central time zone. Travel Requirements Expected travel is 5% for this role. Essential Functions Gain a working knowledge of the construction industry and key players Research, collect, correct, verify, and maintain construction documents through various means like emails and digital research with guidance from manager Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive document review for all assigned projects and use this data to publish or update documents on the Dodge platform Maximize document coverage by collecting and standardizing information on digital files on as many active projects as possible as prompted by proprietary work queues Monitors queues for processing failures due to document redundancy or replacement Complete formal documentation required to support document standardization processes Maintain accountability for performance metrics, ensuring accurate, punctual, and thorough data collection Use proprietary workflow systems for prompts on what work is in queue Determine whether work in queue is new, redundant, or requires modification, and record results Determine whether incoming documents are primary, redundant, or additions to existing content Education Requirement High School Diploma or GED Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, Google Chrome Familiarity with multiple file formats (PDF, DWG, DXF, TIFF, JPG, DGN) Data research experience Exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Excellent reading comprehension Excellent internet research skills Critical thinking skills Organizational skills Able to work effectively in an independent, remote environment Comfortable working in a fast-paced role/production driven environment Strong typing skills Critical thinker and problem solver Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills Experience in the construction industry About Dodge Construction Network Dodge Construction Network exists to deliver the comprehensive data and connections the construction industry needs to build thriving communities. Salary Disclosure Salary Range: $15.38-$19.23 This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
