Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs. Performs amplification based diagnostic assays. Performs applicable internal analytical testing methods used in Customer Product Support. Assists with troubleshooting experimentation required for projects/investigations. Trains new laboratory personnel on basic laboratory tasks. Operates basic laboratory equipment with safety mindset. General laboratory and retention room maintenance. Assists in writing, executing protocols/reports for experimentation. Perform retention checks, evaluation reports and authors risk assessments for compliance. Performs/assists with, simple to moderate investigations and prepares investigation reports/risk assessment statements as appropriate. Perform simple data analysis as required. Uses appropriate root cause analysis and lab investigation tools/process when performing investigations. · Ensures all data is accurate, timely, relevant, and complete. Assists with various complaint-related projects and duties as assigned Required Qualifications and Experience B.S. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering 0-2 years of laboratory experience Preferred Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, Good Lab Practices . Working knowledge of general laboratory procedures, laboratory safety, and record-keeping Basic Technical writing skills Good communication skills Knowledge of Root cause analysis and/or problem solving Experience with systems such as Oracle or Agile at any level is desired Why join Hologic? Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
