Job Title: Mid-Level IT Support Specialist
Work Location: Onsite- must be onsite at HQ 3-4 days/week; Washington, DC/Northern Virginia/Maryland
Clearance Required: N/A; US citizen/Authorized to work Full-time in United States

Position Description/Scope of Work:

  • 3+ years’ experience and familiarity with Azure, Azure AD, and Intune
  • PowerApps development experience
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Portal to include Exchange, SharePoint and Teams
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and a desire to dive deeper (or Beginner-Intermediate level competency).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktop/laptop systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking.
  • The O365 Administrator will be the main point of contact for technical and support issues related to Office 365 administration. Resolve assigned cases/tickets, change requests, and acts as an escalation point for support issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventative
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Azure Servers & Storage and essential Azure Networking
  • Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, Azure AD Proxy, SAML
  • Aid in the development of long-term strategic goals for the enterprise messaging and collaboration environment to include Exchange Online OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and other Microsoft services.
  • Assist with the design and development of Office365 specific security policies, standards, and procedures - e.g. auditing and monitoring, security incident and event management, data protection, user and administrator account management, and conditional access controls.
  • Monitor and respond to issues or service requests reported to IT helpdesk.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years Overall IT Operations / Infrastructure Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years Supporting the Office365 Platform Required
  • Minimum 3 years Supporting Office365 Exchange online/Messaging Required
  • Minimum 2 year Supporting Office365 Teams Required
  • Minimum 1 year Building solutions within PowerApps Preferred
  • Minimum 2 years Supporting Office365 SharePoint Online Required
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications including AZ-104, AZ-500, MS-700, SC-300
  • Experience supporting and administering some or all of the following:
    • Azure AD and/or Active Directory
    • Microsoft Exchange cloud and/or on prem
    • Exchange Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Intune
    • Microsoft MFA and the Microsoft Authenticator app
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to enter time into time tracking system on daily
  • Ability to own support tickets, update consistently, and escalate when
  • Thrives in a fast paced and always changing
  • Ability to multi-task and meet
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in computer science field or similar
  • PowerShell, Python, or Perl scripting
