Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept assigned cases and conduct timely visits to children and parents
  • Negotiate and develop case plans in collaboration with relevant parties
  • Document case activities and maintain physical case files
  • Submit service requests and provide timely referrals to services
  • Attend court activities, individual case staffings, and other necessary appointments
  • Conduct child safety assessments and arrange emergency placement or services when necessary
  • Conduct diligent searches for parents and family members when deemed necessary
  • Provide relevant information to prospective caregivers and facilitate visits as needed
  • Complete all work assignments by established deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field; Social Work degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license, ability to transport clients, and willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability to adapt to irregular hours, perform light lifting, and be flexible to work on call 24/7 as needed
