Position: IT Technician
Location: Plain, WI (onsite)

Calling recent Computer Science grads Looking for an opportunity to jump-start your career in IT support? Our team will provide you with 1:1 training from day one, so you can get hands-on experience with the latest software and technologies.

As an IT Technician, you'll be an important part of our team responsible for keeping our day-to-day IT systems running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for solving issues and improving our system's performance. Your work will ensure our systems are optimized and will have a direct impact on our organizational success.

What You'll Do:
  • Monitor and maintain application systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
  • Manage user queries and issues, providing first-and second-level support and escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as necessary.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting for multiple offices.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides for applications supported.
  • Train and guide users on new features and functionalities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and user satisfaction.

What You'll Bring:
  • 1+ year of Technical Support experience or internship experience is highly desired. A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field will be considered in place of experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • A continuous learning mindset and eagerness to learn new skills hands-on.
  • Familiar with computer networking protocols, hardware and software (cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, Access Points, VPN clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
