Aravo’s Quality Assurance Automation Engineer develops and executes automated tests to ensure product quality. The QA Automation Engineer role plays a critical part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for building and executing automated tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system defects to meet quality standards.

If you hold an engineering background (or equivalent) and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you. We're looking for a team player to be a part of our dynamic, flexible environment, where we adhere to an approach inspired by the Shape Up methodology. We encourage self-organization and a collaborative atmosphere where team members from various functions work together to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and execute automation scripts tailored to user stories, including API testing and end-to-end testing, working in tandem with our QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

· Conduct thorough regression testing, including API and end-to-end testing, to validate bug resolutions and maintain product stability.

· Develop and implement automation tests for both new and existing product features, ensuring they meet client needs and industry standards.

· Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, including developers and Product Managers, to align on system requirements and testing strategies.

· Collaborate closely with our developers and Product Managers to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing valuable feedback to enhance product quality.

· Stay abreast of emerging testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve our testing practices.

· Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities and outcomes, to facilitate transparency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience as a Software Quality Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.

· Extensive experience in test automation using industry-standard tools such as Selenium WebDriver, coupled with hands-on expertise in developing API automation frameworks.

· Proficiency in performance testing methodologies for APIs, ensuring optimal system performance under various conditions.

· Strong ownership mentality, able to take full responsibility for services under test and drive results independently.

· Thorough understanding of product development lifecycles and a disciplined approach to testing, adaptable to various development methodologies.

· Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, coupled with the ability to generate and execute SQL queries to validate testing data.

· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

· Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.
