Key Responsibilities

  • Execute thorough service operations on innovative robotic assembly and welding systems deployed across North America, including robot calibrations, software enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Guide customers in optimizing equipment use by providing clear operational instructions.
  • Analyze customer issues and implement immediate solutions during machine downtimes.
  • Collaborate with clients to suggest long-term enhancements and coordinate with the Engineering department.
  • Install aftermarket components/products sold as upgrades or retrofits for existing clients.
  • Assess spare parts requirements and coordinate with the back-office team to fulfill them.
  • Generate service reports that include value propositions and recommendations for clients.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers at both managerial and operational levels.
  • Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally for approximately 75% of the year.
  • Carry out general duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed based on workload.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the installation and servicing of high-value industrial machinery.
  • Robust software, electrical, and mechanical skill set; familiarity with robotic welding equipment is essential.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours in response to changing schedules.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and diagnostic abilities.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the year throughout North America.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused service mentality.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Possession of a current and valid US driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
