Position Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid working environment)

As the Software QA Engineering Manager, your contributions to the team will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of Software QA Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and productivity
  • Collaborate with support engineers to identify quality issues reported by customers, prioritize them, and work with engineering teams to address them in a timely manner
  • Manage the QA testing processes for new and existing products to meet product needs
  • Manage the overall team’s quality assurance testing activities and documentation of software issues using Jira, Test Rail and/or other approved tools
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track QA performance, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure that automated tests are scalable, maintainable, and reusable

What we ask of you:

  • Required: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in QA, with at least 4 years in a leadership/management level role
  • Experience in release planning, including defining release criteria, managing release schedules, and coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
