Overview:
As a Network Planner, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing logistics networks to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods. This role requires a blend of logistical expertise and strong computer skills to model, analyze, and recommend improvements to the supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Design and Optimization:
o Design and optimize transportation and distribution networks to meet business objectives.
o Analyze current network performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
o Develop models and simulations to evaluate various network scenarios.
2. Logistics Expertise:
o Utilize logistics principles to ensure cost-effective and efficient transportation of goods.
o Collaborate with logistics teams to understand operational needs and constraints.
o Optimize routes and transportation modes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
3. Computer Skills:
o Proficiency in network modeling software and transportation management systems.
o Ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
o Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
4. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, operations, and IT.
o Communicate network strategies and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
o Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics and supply chain operations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in logistics network planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer software and tools relevant to network planning and logistics optimization.
