Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY

Serves as primary contact and support resource for employees and managers for the Human Resources (HR) function for Vanderbilt Integrated Providers (VIP) by doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding benefits, payroll, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resource issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as primary contact for Human Resource related issues by providing day-to-day human resources support to employees and managers by answering questions, responding to HR requests in a timely manner and escalating issues as appropriate.

• Support leaders by providing accurate and timely information or reports regarding the application of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Maintain accurate, complete, and current HR records in compliance with employment law and/or regulations.

• Assist in developing and delivering various HR programs (i.e. employee on-boarding) defining roles and responsibilities, applicable toolkits / checklists and process flow.

• Continuously review and analyze HR processes and procedures recommending process improvements.

• Assist and support VIP Leadership on special projects as assigned, including any needed administrative support.

• Maintain current and up-to-date awareness of Human Resources principles, practices and related regulatory environment.
