The Inclusive Community Programs promotes independence and inclusion for its participants and is currently hiring an Inclusive Community Programs Specialist. ICP Specialists enjoy working in a fun and creative environment. ICP Specialists provide one-one-one support to individuals and help participants actively engage with the Spokane community in order to expand their social connections and build meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate will be creative and comfortable working one-on-one with participants out in the community, and have skills in researching, planning, and problem solving. Through identifying our participants' interests and the skillset that they can offer their community, you will be able to support them in getting involved with activities like: Volunteer work around the community (food banks, local events, animals, etc.) Concerts and dances Crafts and interest based clubs Yoga, Zumba, swimming, etc. Billiards, bowling, bingo, etc. Religious groups and events Community and neighborhood events and festivals and much, much, more. Requirements: Minimum Age of 18 years High School Diploma or GED Driver's license Reliable transportation Auto insurance Clean 3-year driving record Able to pass required background checks Preferred Qualifications: Non-profit and community values Proactive communicator Self-starter/independent worker Team player Desire to help others succeed Compensation: $19.00-$20.90 *DOE starting range, entire scale to $24.70 per hour, Non-exempt, Full-time 40 hours per week. Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 13 Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick and Personal Leave.
