Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our finance and accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance, variances, and trends to support strategic decision-making Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates and forecasts to management and stakeholders Accounting Operations: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations for process improvements Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including staff accountants, bookkeepers, and clerks Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, GAAP, and accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to management Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
