This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing complex administrative activities for the school’s Division of Finance and Operations. The major areas of responsibility for this position are: Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource actions including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave. Respond to routine questions regarding payroll and ensure that all payroll actions are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Liaise with appropriate personnel in the state Department of Administration to ensure timely and accurate submissions and compliance in all payroll actions. Monitor payroll and ensure all employees are served well and in a timely manner. Coordinate the talent acquisition and recruitment process including placing job advertisements, training and supporting hiring committees, and scheduling interviews. Manage and maintain the school’s HR-related policies and procedures and update the Employee Handbook annually. Serve as a program contact for all mandatory training. Provide routine and specialized administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and Operations. For full consideration, candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for work experience. Success in this position will require: Ability to coordinate diverse administrative and management functions and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to balance competing priorities while focusing on operational and organizational excellence.
