Job Title: Human Resources Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at UCI Medical Affiliates, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina.

About the Role:

The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the administration of human resources policies, programs, systems, documentation, and practices for the company. This includes supporting leave administration processes, workers' compensation, HR compliance, benefits, and employee onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate employees on benefit programs, facilitate enrollment, and communicate with vendors.
  • Support leave administration processes, including FMLA, non-FMLA leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and other leaves as needed.
  • Assist with workers' compensation and OSHA reporting, including incident/injury reporting and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Implement process improvements for areas of responsibility and create procedures as needed.
  • Assist with the implementation, administration, and optimization of HR Information Systems.
  • Oversee I-9 documentation and processing, ensuring accuracy and maintaining records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree and two years of Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with ACA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including research, interpretation, and reporting of complex data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
