About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager with a strong background in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) to join our team. This role is key to expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and building strong, lasting relationships with brokers, financial institutions, and business owners.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales and business development within the MCA industry, a deep understanding of financial products, and the ability to cultivate partnerships that generate long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Broker & Partner Relationships– Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, lenders, and financial institutions to expand Funders App's reach and increase deal flow.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth– Implement a results-driven sales strategy, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth by securing new funding deals.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting– Proactively source new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and industry events to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Market Expansion & Industry Engagement– Stay ahead of industry trends in MCA, fintech, and alternative lending to position Funders App as a leader in the space.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing– Utilize strong sales and negotiation skills to close high-value deals and establish profitable partnerships.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting– Monitor key performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide insights to leadership on business development efforts.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in MCA– 3-5+ years in business development, sales, or account management within Merchant Cash Advance (MCA), financial services, fintech, or alternative lending.
  • Strong Broker Relationships– Established connections within the MCA industry and a track record of successfully working with brokers.
  • Proven Sales & Negotiation Skills– Ability to close high-value deals, exceed sales targets, and negotiate effectively with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Deep Industry Knowledge– Understanding of MCA, financial products, lending solutions, and fintech platforms.
  • Networking & Relationship Building– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Exceptional Communication– Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with confidence in leading client meetings and pitching solutions.
  • Education– A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required if the candidate has exceptional experience.

  • Proven Experience: 3-5+ years in business development, sales, or account management within MCA, financial services, fintech, or alternative lending.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of MCA, financial products, lending solutions, and fintech platforms.
  • Networking & Relationship Building: Strong ability to cultivate and maintain partnerships that drive long-term business growth.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead client meetings and pitch solutions effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required if experience is exceptional).

Job Type & Compensation

  • Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
  • Compensation: $70,000 - $150,000 per year (Base + Commission)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Additional Pay: Competitive commission structure
