Open Position: Strategic Account Development Manager


The current economic situation presents an ideal scenario for professionals with exceptional B2B relationship skills to make a significant impact on the growth of a company like Global Merchant Services.


We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to develop and maintain key revenue-generating client relationships by marketing our comprehensive merchant services portfolio, including credit, debit, EBT, gift card processing, EMV, check guarantee, merchant cash advance, loan, and line of credit, virtual terminal/e-commerce, wireless mobile processing, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Samsung Pay to prospective merchants nationwide.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, including administering online job ads, interviewing, maintaining a recruitment dashboard, and pre-screening candidates. Additionally, they will ensure that all new hire paperwork is forwarded to the HR Corporate department and schedule New Hire Orientation.


Key responsibilities include supporting the Executive Director of Sales with Human Resources and employee relations functions, such as interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for acquiring new or existing merchant accounts through networking with clients, negotiating pricing while maintaining profitable margins, and processing signed agreements and activating accounts.


A strong leader, the Strategic Account Development Manager will manage and provide guidance to the sales team, focusing on individual productivity and meeting sales quotas, goals, and objectives. They will accompany sales account executives on field and tele-sales calls to pursue new business opportunities and develop sales campaigns to increase market penetration across all business lines.


The ideal candidate will ensure pricing integrity by managing compliance with company policies and procedures, recruit, hire, and train new sales personnel, and provide additional training as needed to existing personnel. They will perform timely performance appraisals and administer performance improvement plans for underperforming sales staff, oversee forecasting, and ensure accurate data entry into the Partner Portal Module Online Tool.


Requirements

The successful candidate must possess significant sales and relationship-building skills, industry knowledge, follow-up, and reporting capabilities. Strong management skills and the ability to work effectively in a phone-based or in-person environment with executive sales account managers are essential.

A minimum of 1 year's experience in sales and/or management, along with a documented track record of success, is required. A strong background in networking and business development is highly desirable. Previous sales and management experience within small to Fortune 500 businesses is an advantage.

A college degree is preferred but not necessary.


Benefits

The Strategic Account Development Manager can earn $7,500.00 per month or more based on the number of approved merchant accounts and funding programs sold. This includes weekly and monthly sales production bonuses and incentives.
