Job Description Role : Security Infrastructure Engineer Location : Fremont,CA Duration : 6+ Months Rate : $60/hr on C2H(Max) Job Decription : Knowledge: Must have broad and deep understanding of information security,demonstrated by 8+ years experience (best practices, HIPAA, ISO 27000,NIST or HITRUST standards) . Must have a broad base of knowledge in IT technologies, especiallyWindows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 & 2012, AIX, VMware ESXi,Citrix, Cisco, Nortel, Active Directory, applications, firewalls,DMZs, mobile devices. Must have hands-on experience with many enterprise-level informationsecurity systems. Examples: anti-virus, laptop encryption, emailencryption, single sign-on, intrusion detection, SIEM, mobile devicemanagement. Must have operational knowledge of security vulnerability assessmenttools. Applied experience implementing various security mechanisms across thesystems stack: applications, databases, multi-platforms and operatingsystems. Should be familiar with hospital environments. Knowledge of HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules preferred Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to influence and negotiate. Ability to individually contribute to all phases of the solutiondevelopment life cycle and operations (requirements, productevaluations, architecture, design, implementation (Installation,configuration), operations and support. Ability to work with vendors on difficult tier 3/4 support issues Workwell and collaboratively with others, especially technology expertsStrong mentoring skills. Able to successfully lead a multi-person project from start tocompletion. Ability to define or improve an IT-related process. Appropriately balance work on projects in parallel with supportingoperations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize informationfrom disparate sources into an effective Security design. Strong logical and troubleshooting skills and ability to apply themduring system outages and system testing.
