Documentation and Reporting: Record and report identified vulnerabilities, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation for further analysis and remediation.

Remediation Tracking: Track remediation efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of security issues.

Closure of Security Vulnerabilities: Promptly and effectively close identified security vulnerabilities, implementing robust solutions to enhance overall system security.

DevOps Integration: Leverage DevOps principles and practices to integrate security measures seamlessly into the development and deployment lifecycle.

Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to embed security best practices and awareness throughout the software development lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies to proactively enhance the security posture of our systems.

Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to internal teams on security best practices, ensuring a culture of security consciousness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on vulnerability management.

In-depth knowledge of security concepts, protocols, and tools.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and the ability to integrate security seamlessly into DevOps processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar will be a plus.
