The primary responsibility of the IT Compliance Analyst is to ensure all Rio Las Vegas systems and IT processes comply with regulatory, industry and legislative compliance requirements as well as compliance with state and federal gaming regulatory requirements All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and DS' policies and procedures. ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT compliance strategies and programs.
  • Learn and understand relevant IT compliance regulations and frameworks, such as PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST.
  • Support the team in conducting regular audits and assessments of the casino's IT systems, networks, and applications.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and ensure compliance alignment.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to IT compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of IT compliance best practices and procedures.
  • Support the investigation and response to IT compliance incidents or breaches under the guidance of the Director of IT & Regulatory Compliance•
  • Assist in coordinating with external auditors and regulatory agencies during compliance audits and inspections.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT compliance and security
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 21 years of age and proof of authorization to work in the United States.
  • Basic knowledge of IT compliance regulations and frameworks is desirable.
  • Familiarity with IT security principles, concepts, and practices is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
PREFERRED
  • Prior casino experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of information security to include security risk assessment methodologies is preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
