Performance Improvement Specialist Program Manager

Through coaching and expertise, this position will assist frontline caregivers, managers, and other Continuous Improvement team members in executing improvement initiatives, creating a CI culture and adopting elements of the Intermountain Operating Model.
Position Details:
This role will work Monday-Friday during regular business hours at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Incumbent for this role will:
- Conduct chart audits.
- Utilize process improvement methodology within ambulatory care clinics in order to improve key processes and outcomes identified.
- Analyze data through various tools to identify opportunities and improved performance as a result of process improvement work.
- Responsible for process analysis, design, and simulation. Adept at project scoping and effective spread techniques.
- Be the expert at determining the appropriate type of event for the scope and urgency of the project.
- Maintain detailed records of projects.
- Be responsible for tracking progress of projects to ensure improvements are realized and sustained.
- Require high level understanding of organizations business requirements.
- Focus on process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
- Leverage process improvement methodologies to accomplish.
- Create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and ensure communication of these changes is addressed to impacted business teams.
- Coach others on process improvement project methodologies and tools in either Just-in-Time or requested classroom forums.
- Bachelors level degree. Education is verified.
- Completion of formal performance improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, SPC, IHI improvement model). Green belt certification within 6 months of hire (ASQ or IASSC)
- Minimum of three (3) years of prior health care performance improvement experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of and success with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or PDSA/IHI Model for Improvement.
- Healthcare data collection background.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience with Quality Improvement with focus on Sepsis and ERAS.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$29.78 - $52.91
