Automotive Quality Improvement Specialist

At Subaru, we're committed to delivering exceptional vehicles that inspire and delight our customers. As a Quality Improvement Technician - Parts Collection Center, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our vehicles meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Subaru of America, Subaru Corporation, and other stakeholders to resolve chassis- and body-related quality issues in vehicles sold in North America.
- Consult with Manager to determine optimal reproduction methods and follow established work plans.
- Reproduce customer-reported issues with returned parts, using automotive technical knowledge to complete tasks effectively.
- Summarize reproduced conditions and results in a report, and send parts to suppliers, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, and SBR for further investigation.
- Basic knowledge of Subaru vehicles.
- At least two to four years of practical experience in vehicle maintenance, including light and heavy maintenance.
- Proficiency in vehicle part disassembly, assembly, and related skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment.
- Computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access.
- Competitive salary range: $55,800.00 to $70,000.00/year.
