Job Title: Continuous Improvement Black Belt

Primient is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and execute Lean and Six Sigma projects within our continuous process manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Lean and Six Sigma projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals.
  • Utilize statistical tools to identify, analyze, and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Train and mentor team members in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Develop and implement metrics to monitor project performance and ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
  • Continuous Process Manufacturing: Understanding of continuous process manufacturing environments and related challenges.
  • Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
  • Project Leadership: Proven track record of leading and successfully completing Lean and Six Sigma projects.
  • Mentorship: Experience in training and mentoring team members in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Change Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and drive change within an organization.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
  • Six Sigma Certification: Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Lean Certification: Lean certification is highly desirable.
