Description
Position Summary
Serving within the marketing, business development and community engagement teams, the marketing specialist will be responsible for production and execution of marketing efforts, implementation of marketing communications plans and coordination of special projects. The support inform and engage internal and/or external targeted audiences and achieve business objectives.
This role will collaborate with marketing team members and other stakeholders to execute marketing plans, some of which includes digital and social media, copywriting, email and website support, reputation management, google analytics and more. The position may also assist in producing videography and photography as well as coordinating Arkansas Heart Hospital events.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, day shift, 40 hr/week. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Able to work irregular hours on occasion, such as evening and weekend events.
Primary Duties
- Assists with daily operation of the marketing group, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, performing duties as a representative of the department as requested.
- Works with key internal and external stakeholders, vendors and partners to establish and execute marketing programs to drive business goals.
- Creates content - including planning, research, and copywriting - for social media accounts, website, print collateral and other mediums.
- Manages social/digital platforms and website (WordPress CMS) including publishing, reporting and social engagement.
- Plans and implements SEO strategy, including tracking, analyzing and preparing recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and best practices to identify market opportunities.
- Provides for internal communication using e-mail, department newsletter, intranet, etc. as appropriate.
- Supports A/V team with videography and photography as well as content management.
- Assists community engagement team with events including screenings, seminars, lunches, etc.
- Responds promptly to patient, physician, staff or visitor needs with courtesy.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Specifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or related required.
- Licensure/Certification: None required.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in Marketing area required. Healthcare setting of at least one year preferred.
- Ability to clearly, accurately and professionally represent Arkansas Heart Hospital
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently and effectively
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Ability to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced, business office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
